Training certification

When you’ve completed your training you can book a private appointment with me and if you’re ready, we will prepare your certification. Instructions how to do this are in the certification module in your course. I can assess your progress and you can ask me all your training questions, and then, when you and I are both happy that you’re ready, we can prepare your certification.

Kim, I’m interested in your basic training course for image consultants. Is there an exam? An online training to learn in a practical way how to do it or is it just theory?

All my professional-level training includes live training video recordings, so you will be learning in a practical way by watching real-life image consultants learning about colour analysis and personal style, asking their own questions, and having their colours done.

There are no exams or tests before you get training certification so when you’ve completed your online training, I offer a certification appopintment.

The appointment isn’t a test, it’s an opportunity for you to ask me your questions in a confidential 1-1 environment and by the end of the discussion, we will have agreed if you are ready for your certification or if you have more homework to do first.

The roadmap to certification

Let’s have a look at the training with certification you could take and the order you should do them.

Always start with colour analysis

I always recommend you start with colour analysis, and Colour Analysis Training in a Box is the course to take to begin your colour analysis journey.

Optional Step #2:

At this point you’re up and running with seasonal and tonal colour analysis, personal 1-to-1 consultations, and group colour workshops and you have colour analysis certification.

For many this is all you will ever need. For others, this isn’t enough, and you want more! That’s when you start your style and wardrobe training and here’s the order to do them in:

  1. Ladies Personal Style Course with certification
  2. Personal Shopping Course with certification

Personal Style teaches you how to diagnose your client’s body shape without needing to measure or touch her, 5 different ways to diagnose your client’s style personality, a step-by-step approach to style consultations & workshops, and lots more.

Personal Shopping teaches you how to put together a step-by-step plan to help your client manage her wardrobe, and create a step-by-step plan for personal shopping trips too. Learn also how to promote your services and make them fun and profitable.

Step #3:

Add fresh perspective to your existing core skills and learn how to build a lucrative, successful career as an image consultant. This is where you are right now:

  • You’re up and running with seasonal and tonal colour analysis
  • Your personal 1-to-1 consultations and group colour workshops are looking good
  • You have your colour analysis certification
  • You’ve (optionally) added style, wardrobe and personal shopping services to your business
  • You have your personal style certification

So what’s next? If you’re like me, you’re always looking for more and although you have your colour and style certification under your belt, I recommend you take your studies to the next level.

Masterclasses

A set of 20 Step-by-Step Masterclasses containing audio tuition, extensive notes, step-by-step workbooks, and yes, I give you homework too! Each masterclass presents a new perspective on the core skills of colour analysis and personal style, marketing, mindset, and the perfect consultation.

Mini Courses

To be successful you must learn how to stand out from the crowd and we have a set of 3 mini-courses, containing an audio, video, and workbook, designed to show you exactly how to do that. Not sure you’ll ever be able to find enough people to pay for your services or know what to charge? Struggling to find new clients and make money from your colour and style business? We have the mini-course for that.

Step #4:

Looking for support?

Most of us want private coaching at some point because we simply can’t do all this by ourselves. So I’ve created some special options, all of which include personal access to me for private coaching, mentoring, brainstorming, and support when you need it. Private coaching is the part of my business that gives me a real buzz.

1-to-1 Training is private one-to-one colour & style training and coaching with me. It’s training for both new and experienced image consultants, tailored to your specific needs. It’s for those who want to build and grow an independent, franchise-free business that’s designed around your key strengths and your personality. A rare opportunity to train with me personally.

Just contact me and let’s talk.

All our professional-level training includes a custom-design certificate so why not stand out from the crowd and display your certification in your studio!
