Course breakdown

This course offers a simple low-cost way to begin analysing your own colouring, so you can choose clothes, make-up, jewellery, glasses and accessories that help you look and feel fabulous every day.

Across four course modules,
build your colour confidence step by step…

Module #1

Start by exploring whether cool or warm colours work best for you, then test that direction through practical exercises, identify three reliable confidence colours, and learn how neutrals, capsule wardrobes and strategic colour choices can make shopping and dressing easier.

In this first module, we focus on the essentials: what colour analysis means, how cool and warm colour families work, and how to begin observing your hair and eye colouring before you move on to draping and further diagnostic methods in later modules.

Module #2

This module focuses on cool and warm colour analysis, including what to wear, what to avoid, and how to manage more challenging colours.

We will also look at capsule wardrobes, holiday packing, make-up colour choices, first impressions, and how colour can support business wear and formal occasions. Module 4 will move into the additional skills needed if you want to help friends, family or clients identify their own colours.

By the end of this module, you will be able to: explain the difference between cool and warm colouring, use simple comparisons to test colour harmony, and recognise common colour analysis myths. You will also be able to choose clothing, jewellery and make-up colours with more confidence.

Module #3

In this module, we explore why neutrals are among the most valuable colours in any wardrobe. A well-chosen neutral palette can help you build a cohesive collection of clothes, make more considered purchases, and create polished outfits for work, holidays and special occasions.

Neutrals are particularly important for investment pieces such as coats, jackets, tailored trousers, skirts, suits, shoes, boots, handbags, gloves and key accessories. Once you know your most flattering dark and light neutrals, the same principles can also inform choices in jewellery, eyewear, make-up and hair colour.

Module #4

This module moves beyond analysing your own colouring and shows you how to help someone else identify whether they are cool or warm.

The aim is not to follow a rigid, franchise-style process, but to build a flexible consultation approach that reflects your personality and preferred methods.

You may use these skills informally with friends and family, for fundraising, or as a first step towards professional colour work. Treat the material as a toolkit: use what works, adapt what does not, and keep the focus on helping someone feel confident.

What this mini-course IS…

‘Colour Yourself Fabulous’ is a mini-course, designed to give you a simple, fun introduction to the world of colour, by focusing on Cool and Warm colour directions. There’s no business content, support, or certification.  This is fun stuff about colour analysis, more colour, and nothing but colour.

This is exactly how I started my own colour journey 40+ years ago and these concepts still form the basis of everything ‘colour’ I continue to create and teach today.

This mini-course is NOT…

If you are desperate to learn full Seasonal and Tonal colour analysis right now, I offer a completely separate, in-depth, professional training course ‘Fabulous Colour Analysis Course’ which also provides business content, support, and certification for you to qualify as a professional image consultant. An alternative is the Colour Analysis Genius training program which contains a wealth of new content. Learn seasonal and tonal colour analysis from scratch or add colour to your existing colour consultancy work with my proven step-by-step ‘Put the Client First’ system together with my personal support.
